AC + Hondata Question
When I run my ac(so my fiancee has one less thing to complain about my R) it seems like the R is a complete slug in everyway possible. my rpm is low, it shakes like crazy (i do have jimfab mounts), clutch feels vey spongy and i cant accelerat for crap. I know ac kills accelration but it seems like its getting worse. I also have hondata s200 so if any one has any sugestions i would be open to check them. I will be changing cap, plugs and rotor soon but figure that probably has nothing to do with it.
i have the same problem. but im not running Hondata. just running a vafc hack... taking off from a dead stop with the a/c on, it takes a lot of effort in making the car move. example... using a lot more rpm's and sometimes the car would just stall out....
the only thing that i can think of is.... either your fuel or ignition timing.... i think thats my problem....

My car had no problems with the ac on before I switched to hondata. I have hondata now and I disabled the ac at 5500 rpms. It didn't really make a difference to me.

So what do you do when taking a long hiway trip?
Yeah I know 5k in 5th is fast... but sometimes I cruise there
