Default Helpp! buying a tyep R ( salvage tittle)

i have a deal for a Tye pr with 44,000 miles for 11 G, the car has salvage tittle, they stole the 2 front seats and the head lights,
if the owner of the car has all the original receipts for the stolen part he bought, i should be ok to re-register the car in FL right? the car was register in GA.
what you think?

that sounds like a pretty big bullshit reason of the car being stolen, just the two front seats and headlights off a itr,,,, riiiiiiiiight

but if he already has the car registerd then that is ok i guess, check the vins on the motor, the motor code, does it have real itr interior?

The car should not have a salvage title due to only front seats and headlights. Sounds a little fishy to me. See if you can find out more info about the car. As far as registering in FL. I am getting a salvage title due to accident and it's no problem to register it. Good Luck.

Funny, I said the same thing in this other, similar topic. Except for the mileage, it could easily be the same car. And all the discussion points made in that other topic apply here as well. In fact, you could have just posted to that topic, instead of creating a new one...

I agree, those wheels are ugly . All of this sounds fishy to me, but use your best judgement.

DUDE! Don't do it!!!
That car is in Gwinett, GA. I talked to the guy, and he gave me a different story.
Sounds like a big bunch of BS to me.
Guy told me nothing about the headlights, he said seats, rims, and gauge cluster.
I don't buy it, personally. Like others on this board have said, save some extra cash and buy a clean one.
that's what i'm gonna do (as soon as i sell this Subaru....)
