Default 99 Turbo Civic SI .......Blown! Need help with new install!

I have a 99 si turbo... I blew my ring lands and my car is a locomotive on 3 cyl so Im taking everything out...

I was running 440cc w/ a vafc before..

Here is what I am doing now...(sorry I am a noob w/ FI Hondas). But, I am curious if I am missing anything and what kind of boost and Hp this setup will take (w/ a good tune of course )

I am replacing the pistons with weisco 8.8 :1
I am also changing to ACL bearings
The afc is coming out and I am putting in a Hondata S200 and adding cam gears
New street/strip ACT and fidanza flywheel

My other questions are regarding:
Head gasket? Head studs? block guard? or anything else you guys have for me..

Thanks

Headgasket: Stock/Golden Eagle
Studs: ARP/Golden Eagle studs
Guard: Darton/Golden Eagle sleeves

Do it right.

wont the 8.1's cause a loss of power before boost kicks in?

I also have a B16 running JE pistons 8.8:1cr, eagle rods, oem head gasket and I reused my stock head bolts (I would have gone with ARP but they were 2 months back order and I needed the car out of the shop). But I haven't had any problems 334hp & 246tq

For the Guard... Is that just a block guard or is that actually having the block sleeved?? Since I know that is my limitation is the sleeves..

I wasnt going to do rods, becuase I heard they were not necessary unless I was sleeving the block, the stock rods should hold up to 15psi or 300whp??

How much boost are you running and what did you use to tune it?

You will already have the block out i'd suggest you do rods also...If you look around you can get a good deal, i sold my eagle rods with 800miles on them for 215$

NO, blockguards are worthless IMO, the stock rods will do 300whp tuned correctly ya, but so will the stock pistons.
