Default turn signal problems

the situation: 1995 Accord EX the turn signals are working intermittently, making a "buzzing" noise inside. It happens almost every time we turn them on, but will occasionally stop by itself. When the buzzing noise stops, the turn signals work., but only for a few seconds, then more buzzing. Any idea?

I have the same problem when my car is cold. I think it may be the relay but I am too lazy to check as it only does it for about 1 sec before they work.

thanks for the info. I wish I could check it myself, but that's really not a good idea(very auto challenged)!
I just hope it doesn't cost much to fix it. I hate having no working turn signals--it's illegal and dangerous

it's easy my friend it's just a matter of knowing where the relay is, removing it and replacing it. (After you test to find the fault)

Ok, replaced the relay and still nothing. all fuses are good. Are there any other electric components that would affect the turn signals?
