valve ticking ?

Hey I just recently put a 98 jdm b18b and when I accelerate, in my at lower rpms, I get a ticking or cringcaling sound from the engine ???

Help!!!

maybe do a compression test,or just pull the head and check the valves

Its valve lash...had the same problem.

i had the same problem...my vlaves were ticking and i heard a noise coming from the timing belt, the next day my timing belt went out
