Default autometer cobalt boost gauge?

i just picked one up and was trippin out on the fact that it only has 2 wires for connecting to power/ground... i was under the impression that gauges of that sort required at least 3, power, accessory and ground. The boost gauge i have only has power and ground

so am i missing a wire? im gonna give autometer a call when i get off of work, im just wondering if anyone else has had this problem b4, TIA

Just wire the black one to a ground and the red one to either your IGN or your headlights/running lights. IGN it'll always be lit up, headlights/running lights only on when you have your lights on.

My boost guage only has 2 wires. The red and the black. You don't really need an accessory wire as it only needs some kind of charge, either a constant, a switch, or something that's wired to your headlights because the only thing electronic is the light.
