Default peak boost kit wastegate leaking

i got a peak boost kit gsrb18c and the wastegate burned out the gasket and so i took the gasket off because i was told it would bond to gether metal to metal but its leaks worse now so what should i do is there a way to solve the leak besides buying gaskets and changing them all the time!!!!!

Default Re: peak boost kit wastegate leaking (PB400Whp)

we never use the gaskets for the tial 38mm w/g's. they will blow the side of the gasket out everytime. i dont even know why they bother putting those things in the box with the wastegate. lol
at your local autozone they will have Permatex Ultra Copper, its a high temp copper sealant that we've found seals the valve seat perfect with no leaks.
or, if you really want to use a wastegate, the turbonetics wastegate gaskets use a metal ring to prevent those blowouts.
