changing turbo size, suggestions?
currently i have a a turbonetics t3/t04e 60trim .63a/r with a cheap ss autochrome manifold for my h22. in the past couple months i had my motor built and i also hoping to pick up the top mount full race manifold when it comes out with a 44mm wastegate instead. I want to upgrade the turbo as well. what suggestions do you guys have for me. should i stick with a bigger t3/t4 or go with a full t4 and if so which size? I am looking to get close to 550-600hp. oh yea i am running uberdata for tunning. this is what i currently have done:
block:
darton sleeves
je pistons 10:1 87mm
eagle rods
acl bearings
micropolished crank
balanced
balancer shaft removed
Head:
crower stage 2 cams
the rest us full crower set up witih .5mm oversize valves
bronze guides
port and polished
venom intake manifold
aem fuel supply
880cc injectors
walbro pump

a precision sc61 would be ur best friend IMO. i have an sc61 w/sc63 hot side. it spools just as fast as my drag turbo(t3t4) and put down great numbers. good luck with ur set up.
Any garett T3/To4s with a 61 or 66.5 mm compressor wheel will be fine for 550-600+ whp if you want the performance of a T4 just go p-trim...
If the car is meant for the street...I wouldnt reccomend a T4
