Default STR blockguard with CRV block?

I was wondering if the STR Blockguard for the B series will work with a B20B?

Are the water jackets the same size for all B series, regardless of bore size or sleeve thickness.

thanks.

I don't believe it will fit. If I'm not mistaken, the b20 gets its extra thickness by taking up more of the waterjacket then the LS block does.

IMO opinion those block gards are crap. Reduce cooling and can actually weaken the cylinder bore strength (long discussion from Endyne's board). I say sleeve, you'll be way happier in the long run (judging by your sig you look to make a lot of power). Do it right the first time.

The STR one does not reduce cooling. This guy i know has one in his 351 WHP GS-R @ 12 PSI daily driven. And has no problem with it.... so dont judge a product just because Endyn said this, Endyn said that...

Actually I know people who have warped heads using those block guards. You asked for opinions and got them. Don't be cheap resleeve the block.

They probably used the Nu Formz blockguard. I'm only gonna be running like 10 PSI, why would I need to waste money on resleeving the block?

If you are only gonna run 10 psi then why even waste the time putting in a block guard?
