Another high idle thread.
I rebuilt my engine and replaced it, now the idle is high at 1,500 RPMs, throttle cable is fine, idle screw is all the way in, i'm pulling 18-19 Vacuum and 21 on deceleration, the engine before rebuild pulled a solid 20 at idle, but i'd assume it pulls less due to lowered compression (right?). The only people i know with vacuum gauges are factory turbo equipped cars with low compression and they get these exact same numbers. I tried retarding my timing and this lowered it, but the car ran horrible. I'm throwing no CELs, i'm baffled.
I'm running Uberdata and tuned my idle to 14.7, occasionally it idles excessively lean, but has no effect on the RPMs.
