Argh, idle > 1k... drops to 800 sometimes.. IACV/FITV/TPS?
Ok well ive been going thru the issues with my car one by one and im down to one of the last ones here, my high/hunting idle.
My idle is usually aroun 1000, but it will bounce from 1-2k sometimes, sometimes it will rest at 1200, sometimes it will go to 800 and the narrowband o2 will read LEAN... very inconsistent.
Tonight I am going to try taking apart the IACV and cleaning it, and bypassing the FITV. Unfortunately from what i read this rarely fixes the issue.
Was wondering if anyone had ideas aside from IACV/FITV? I am going to test TPS voltage at idle as well....
I get a pretty consistent 22" vac at idle
ideas?

Update:
Bypassed FITV, cleaned and reattached IACV, idle is improved but still a little high (1k rpms).
I fiddled with the idle screw and it brought it down to where i want but it seems to bog on the way down if i give it gas after i have it in the right rpm range via screw. Like itll go up then down down down, DOWN to low, hesitate, then come back up to 1k.
I am gonna read up on how to adjust it properly...
