Default how to clean PR3 bare head?

how should i clean a pr3 head? its all dirty and nasty there alot of old oil, it is bare only valves,springs,retainers.

The best thing to do to get it perfectly clean would be to have it hot tanked!
but if thats not an option you could use some break clean and a scrub a brush!

Yes. You can also use carb cleaner or any other solvent. Simple Green is also good.

just once you get it all clean I would spray it with wd40 or oil to make sure nothing rusts!

I wouldn't worry about the aluminum head rusting but definitely hit the rockers and springs and crap with something to keep the corrosion down.

That was what I meant the head itself won't rust but the internals of the head will.
