Default f22 question

i have a 91 accord lx a/t

the dizzy on this perticular setup utilizes an internal coil.

yesterday at the junkyard i found a 93 lx that had a dizzy with external coil....

can and should i swap mine for that 1?

thanks in advance

different coils. you can't put an external coil in your distributor that runs an internal coil...

With The 93 accord it does come with the external coil. The easest thing to do is to buy a msd blaster and cap and do the same thing just get a better spark which equals more power.

i've personally have done that swap and it works. except vice versa. My 91autoLX came with a dizzy w internal coil. new engine (from salvage yard) came with an external coil. ONLY in this generation accord can the dizzy's be swapped. I've verified that a few times. i dont notice any difference as far as power is concerned.

once i complete the swap could i just replace the coil with an blaster coil and get more performance?

or would i still need the msd cap and power tower?

cause if thats the case ill jsut buy the ******* msd cap and power tower and coil and call that a day
