I know for a fact that turbosmart has a great quality, otherwise, I wouldn't even be thinking of carrying them.

I persoanlly have never heard of any problem spiking, but again, spiking is caused by poor manifold/WG placement rather than boost controller issues. This is about 90% of the time.

If you spike from 10 to 20 psi, then something else must be up...

We are using the dual stage manual boost controller from turbosmart on a turbo RSX we built. It works perfectly. The EBCs we tried could not react fast enough with the GT30R and usually overshot the boost. The manual kept the boost rock solid.

the car itself is holding 7psi perfect everytime with just the wastegate. i'm no pro on this stuff but the shop i dynoed at narrowed it down to the boost controller malfunctioning. the manfold is a full-race style with a turbonetics wastegate.

its the single stage mbc by the way, got it from ebay new so hard to tell....

up for more info... I would also like some details as to how people hook these up... I run the dual stage on my car, and hook it up according to the instructions, and still had some problems with it spiking/creeping... Just wondered if any of you folks have tried hooking them up differently....
