i just bought a used turbosmart dual-stage manual boost controller. the guy i got it from lost the instuctions ......oh well.
the turbosmart website has some vague instructions with a picture showing how they hook it up to an internal wastegate with one vacuum port. but I'm currently running a tail 38mm external gate that has 2 ports.
i have an "idea" of how it should be hooked up but can anyone just verify exactly how it really should be hooked up?
also pictured on their website they show a "T" that should come with their boost controler....is there anything special about that specific "T" since there is an arrow showing the direction of which way the flow should be. I'm only asking because the "T" that i got is just a generic brass "T". maybe the guy lost the original one and replaced it with this? there is no specific check valve in that "T" is there?
http://www.turbosmart.com.au/b...d.htm
thanks in advance.

Not having used it, here's my guess:
In the very first picture at the top of the page, the cut-away shows a check ball with a spring to keep some pressure on it. You'll also notice that the sticker on the side has half of the directional arrow cut away.
Soooo....looking at the 'T' that you're talking about and noticing that it too has that directional arrow, I'd say that your generic 'T' won't fit the bill.
Then again, they do have contact info....
