i have a 93 civic coupe si today when trying to start engine, it started up fine but a couple seconds later the rpms drops and engine shut off , it happens occasionally. the car is stock and follows the maintence schedule. any help would be awsome.

i hv 99 civic stock org, same problem, while drivin on hot days or after driving a lot
my friend (toyota repair man) say its the air cleaner or air intake dirty
he say to spray carb cleaner.

Well I found something else wrong on my car
cracked ext manifold
believe this is cause my stall

 

i cracked exhaust mani shouldnt stall the car

 

drove the car after it sat for a while and it seemed ok. thanks guys and gals
