Cant break 300 whp......WTF!?!?
Alright, Im not as well veersed in turbo-lingo 101 but I'll do my best. ls vtec, 9/1 comp cp's, eagle rods, skunk 2 intake, 550 injctors, walbro 290 pump, 2.5 inch piping, greddy cooler, dom-data tuning,....and finally the snail,....its a t3-B I THINK. Im not sore about the other #'s. My question is this. Could that turbo be whats keeping me under 300 whp??? I hate to ask bc I dont know the turbine,...um inlet,.... outlet,..... flux capacitation blah blah. All I know is like I said,.... T3-B came with the drag kit. cost right @ 3000 w/injectors.

could be your tuner is just tryin to run it safe and he has the timing set back a lil bit, also whats your compression #'s

get used to it. my buddy had a fully built b16 block with a t3/t04b at 14psi it was 290 at hte wheels and at 19-20 it was like 300. get a t3/t04e and watch the power magically jump. the "b" wheel is good for high flow/low pressure ratio applications, which hondas clearly arent

I agree the t3/t04e is much better then B model.Wish i could have made it to 300hp mark too but Iam only 266whp@6psi on the t3/t04e...I got fuel issues so i cant turn up the boost yet.

That sounds right. My friend highrevvs99 has the same setup as me but with that turbo and he makes 408whp. he does however have typer cams and an equall length mani as well as 3" exhaust.... ok, he has some more parts but he gets to 408 @ 14 lbs of boost opposed to my 293 @ 14 lbs. So that makes since to me. How much could I get for my turbo? Ive only had it on for about 3 months and a month of which I wasnt even driving the car. Whats it worth? How much is a good price for a t3/t04e?
ok,....I think I need to re-word my question. Given what you already know about my setup, which turbo should I get in order to reach 400whp?? Am I going to need bigger injectors??? Keep in mind this car is a D.D. and its not sleeved. Am I stupid for attempting this with a stock block(unsleeved)? I mean, Ive heard of several 500hp+ D.D.'s on here but they all had sleeved blocks.
