Default Newer b16a head on older block???

I currently have a 92+ B16a head on an LS Block with Civic Type R Pistons, with a GSR trannsmission, however, i meesed up the bottom end pretty bad...While I rebuild the bottom, I was wondering if i would have any problems putting an older b16 block with my current b16a head and GSR tranny?

nope, you shouldn't have any problems mounting an older b16 head on your LS block, providing you get the LS/vtec modifications to the head redone.

All B16A and B18C heads are the same as far as mounting specs go. You can put an 89+ b16a head on a 92+ B16A block or 89-91 b16 block or 94+ B18C block.....same goes for a B18C head on B16 blocks.... you confused yet?
