there's nothing wrong doing this setup. The head bolt in perfectly. Sometimes, you do what ever is available to you.

it will bump your compression about .2 points, and you would need the IM of the gsr as well, due to the different bolt patterns

I know that you would use the head bolts from the GSR if you were using a GSR block, and a b16 or type r head. So I"m assuming in this case a B16 block with GSR head you would use the B16 head bolts correct?

Yup, just use the B16A headbolts, they're meant for the 263mm block... As pissedoffsol said, you will get an increase of ~0.20:1 at std. bore... B16A with 81mm PR3 slugs ~10.4:1, with P30's ~10.6:1... Good Luck

I had that setup for a little while... sold the car like that too..eheh.
It gives alot more low end tq... something b16's need badly.
I removed the secondary butterflies since i had si ecu... it pulled nicely all the way to 8k.
I would say like the other guy said... you do what you can afford soemtimes.
