Default GT35R Built VR6!!

This is my brothers motor he just finished up this week (goin in car this weekend). he's been working on the car for almost 2 years now. It was taken down to a bare shell and most every bushing, bracket, bolt, etc on the car has been replaced with new oem parts or powdercoated.

Anyways setup is a 2.8L vr6, 9:1 Custom CP pistons/manley rods. CCH (i think) big valve head and valvetrain. ATP turbo manifold. (will have a tubular soon), GT35r, Tial wastegate and bov, SDS EMS, And custom intake manifold i fabricated..

(hope the pics work..if not i'll rehost them later)

i've always thought a hx35 w/ a 12cm turbine would do quite well on a VR, i;ve never seen anybody run any type of holset on a Dub though

400 wheel on pump should be no problem.

My buddy is running an old T4 60-1 hi fi on his turbo VR. Made 350 at 14 pounds on pump, and 440 at 19 on race gas. Now running 21 on pump, and the thing pulls real nice... more tuning tomorrow morning, but I would guess we are in the 410-430 wheel range on pump now. Gonna run some c16 and turn the boost up to 30, and see what we get. Built motor, btw.

Nice...I think my brother has just enough injector to break 400whp and thats about it for now... He has no intentions of racing the car, etc.. Just wants a fun street car...i want him to push the motor though

here ya go man.

Pump:

24 pounds with a failing fuel pump

and race:

28 pounds(new fuel pump). Turbo is an old T4 60-1 hifi that has been sitting around for a long time. Pretty much done at 28 psi, rolling over
