What look are you going for?

The Spoons are more race inspired. Both are nice, but the SSRs are a little played out. Then again, so are fake Spoons. Pick your poison.

I never liked the Spoons, thought they looked like your hub caps fell off.

they do make the right bolt pattern but the offset doesn't fit right so you'd need spacers. because i have 17" slipstream's and the offset is +48 and it'll work with spacers.

Ok i can understand buying rota's for your civic or teg, but I can't justify buying them for your S2K. If I am buying such a balanced car as an S2K, I am getting the real deal rims..... but to each his own.

Actually, they started making it (16x7 and 16x8). I'll probably buy a set for track duty. Cheap and easy to replace if you bend one hopping gaters.

And yes, wheels are a wear item depending on what you do with them.

But given the two options, I like the Spoon/Regamasters more.

You can buy used real spoons for $1200 delivered......from me......

I have a zillion people who are interested, but they all seem pretty flakey and back out.....

mine are 16*7 w/ 45mm offsets fronts
and 16*8 w/ 45mm offsets rears.

i know that rota makes

16x7 in a 45+ and 48+ offset now, along with the 16x8 in the same offset.

since a post said real spoons have 16x7 and 16x8 with 45+ offset, has rota made a complete match?

sounds like it.... a year ago there was not a 16*8 in 45mm available.

The Rota's are not quite as light or nice as the Spoons, but for $125 each they are definately a good deal... especially if they are making an 8" wide rear in 45mm offset!
