Default boosted on stock internals?

How much boost is it safe to run on a b16a with all stock internals?

All depends on the tuning. You could run 5psi and blow the engine up. People have made close to 350whp on a stock internal b series but the tuning needs to be spot on. I would say between 8-12 psi would be good as long as you have good tuning.

If I were you, I would go here:
http://www.holley.com/TechService/FAQ.asp and
http://www.zex.com/Products/FAQ.asp

They had alot of the information I was trying to find out and bunch of other stuff I never really thought about.

Wrong link above. Was trying to help some with a nitrous decision. 7-8 psi is good.

nsxmatt ran 10psi in his old hatch, on stock internals, he ran in the 11's on slicks, the car was always his daily driver and the car never once broke down on him.

here is a link to his car.
PS the car is no longer for sale
