Default Car stops

my girlfriends having probs with her car, its a 1990 mazda familiar. When its cold and the auto choke is on, the car just dies some times. The other day she was driving around a corner, changed down to 2nd and then the car just died. All the dash lights just came on. She pulled over and started it straight away no problems. This is the 2nd time this week that it has happened. Both times it happened it was a cold morning.
I cant see any loose connections anywhere. Also the auto choke seems to go all good, i.e it gives good revs. When idling normally with the car warmed up it idles fairly low (cant say how low because no rev meter)
Any ideas???? I searched but couldnt find anything.

Why would you come to a Honda forum asking about Mazda issues regardless of your situation? Here's a thought.......try a Mazda forum??!!

first of all EAT MY ***
2nd, I own a honda and have been a member of this forum for quite a while, over this time I have found that MOST people have a good knowledge of cars and usually come up with solutions to many problems. I believe that the problem with my gf's car is not a problem which is unique to just mazda's and that there would be people in this forum who would of had the same problem and know how to solve it. Why should I sign up to a mazda forum? I cant be arsed searching out a good one when I can just post it here and get the same answer.

sounds like it might be an electrical problem, plugs, dizzy, also check all fluid levels, coolant, oil, fuel, let it warm up before driving (cold morning right?)

I've checked all plugs and wires and they seem to all be in order, plugs are good, fluid levels, oil, coolant etc are all good. Will check fuel tommorrow. Cheers

Will try this if all else fails. Im thinking that it must be something else though because when it first starts up it idles nice and high. Plus it just dies without warning, no choking or spluttering. Cheers though.
