upgrade changes
first off, i read the rules of the forum, i don't think they like you asking this type of questions, but since i don't run everything, i will tell you my thoughts
what is your current set up, and what do you plan on doing?
it all depends on the motor and the combination of items and the brands used
first off, don't believe the 15 hp gains that ebay intakes claim, realisitic, it depends on how effient the compents are prior to replacement
a basic cold air intake, should cost under $50 (this is just basic, not name brand) and should give 3-5 hp
headers- now maybe 5-7 hp, but they increase flow, if you are going turbo later, don't bother with this, and save some $$ for your kit
exhaust benefit more once you have more done to the engine first, and will cost a $few 100
personally for me, i notice the biggest increase when i redid my fuel system, 440cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel gauge, new ecu to run everything like stock until i hit the gas - all this was about $500, and would be very helpful in all future upgrades (turbos need fuel)
also, not for the motor, but you should get strut bars, sway bars, and some new shocks/springs - about $400 for all that so you can use your power
i have almost every bolt on so feel free to ask more
