PR3 head stamp, what motor??
The reason being, a bud of ours bought a JDM b16. He paid extra for a 3rd gen. Today he dyno'd it and got some discouraging numbers. The operator of the dyno told him that by the markings on his head that it was 1st gen. Motor was bought from a reptable place here in canada so I couldnt see them purposely riping him.
I guess we're looking for some distinctive properties between 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen B16's. Markings need to be block/head markings only; intake, distributer and such are easily swaped.
Thanks guys.

i dont think dunn is going to be too happy to know he got a 1st gen head on a 2nd gen block... but then again i never even heard of a 3rd gen JDM B16....
...especially since he paid $900cdn more for it. He's going to call TokyoAutoParts tomorrow and find out whats up. They're a big supplier, doesnt seem like something they'd do.
