what piece is this PCV valve maybe????
I wouldnt worry about that to much..... you do need to plug that nipple though on the intake manifold... you will lose boost pressure threw that

so plugging both ends will not make it throw a CEL????

it wont throw a cel even if you dont plug it..... it goes to the charcole canister on teh back of your block.... its a emissions thingy.... you dont need it here in VA. But I would recommend you to plug the nipple
I wouldnt plug the part that goes to the canister, just the part that goes to the intake manifold... but why not spend the 2.50$ and buy a new PCV? or better yet buy a Endyn catchcan?

There won't be a boost leak if you install the PCV valve back in there and then hook it back up, which I don't recomend doing for boosted applications.
But yeah, if you hooked a hose up from the breather box to the intake manifold without a PCV valve you would pressurize the crankcase with boost! LoL, that would be a bad thing.
I would just cap off the nipple on the intake manifold and run a line from the black box to either a vented catch can or just run a line pointing down towards the ground.
There won't be a boost leak if you install the PCV valve back in there and then hook it back up, which I don't recomend doing for boosted applications.

naw i think i payed 13.50 out the door for my part. but yea i have to look up all these things about the pcv system before i go turbo

don't worry its not geting hooked back up and it will be used as a vacuum source for my FMU to read boost. as for the other end, i won't plug it, it can stay where it is. problem solved. also just installed a golden eagle vacuum rail, just for *****.
