i just had my valves adjusted and they still make a ticking noise , any ideas on whats making the ticking noise?

 

How old is your car and how many miles?

 

I have some perhaps's. Perhaps it's just your injectors, which is normal, or perhaps it was adjusted wrong?

Valve lash

 

Injectors make a LOUD noise when operating. Does this tick increase with engine speed? If it goes away, or become less noticable, then I'm betting it's the injectors.

 

its a 2000 gs 90k its comes come when i start and then goes of also increases when with engine speed and stops after a while. what oil should i use , i use 5w30

yes valves or injectors-
the injectors when they are old do make a ticking noise- but i just adjusted my friends valves- he has a 95 gsr which he was getting major valve lash- open your hood and listen not to hard to tell where the sound is comming from-
oil i use 5w20 oem honda specification -

 

the noise is coming from the right side of the engine near the timing belt area mostly the back .. and i am about to replace the injectors soon thanks
