I finally got the car started after using a d16a6 dizzy modded and it run with no codes. I drove it down the street for about 5 minutes, no codes, vtec works its a stout engine. Get back home calm down ( excitement is an understatment) and then start it up and go to check timing.

I start up the car. All is fine. It idles at 750ish and sounds ok. Put the timing light on and get ready to check it and it starts idling funny and then cuts out. Weird. Start it up, same routine. This time I look for codes. Code 5. Hrmmm. Change MAP sensor and it is the same outcome. Weird.

Well here is where it gets more weird. I start it up to move it out of the way and it does the same idling fine and then i put it in gear and move it. Its all good. NO weird idle after Nothing. Shut it down, start it back up and press the gas pedal a few times and its ok again.

So what could it be? I took a very small video of it so you can see what it does after 15 seconds.

code 5 is a vacume line problem to the map. check to see if there are any holes in the line and it has manifold vackume.
