The stock compression ratio for the B16a3 is approx 10.3:1. From what I am reading this is generally too high for turbo. Can I use b18 pistons in my b16. With a 3 layer head gasket, i show it to come out to 8.6:1 and with single layer a 9:1 which is what I understand to be better. I will be boring my b16 block to 81.5mm and need to know the best piston to use for turbo. This will be my first turbo setup, so thanks for yalls help. Which would be the better setup. This will be in a 94 Del Sol. I hope to make a 220 HP daily driver.
