My car revs between 1000 and 1500 rpm when at idle; how do I fix that.

I don't know how timing would make the car idle high... My car does this too and I know for a fact on mine it's a vac. leak. You might also want to try adjusting your throttle cable. Or your TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) could be bad.

Dude, it's not really necessary to give him crap and no suggestions... At least for his first post he had a legitimate question and not "how do I install my altezza's?".

easy there killer. i do not believe i was giving him crap. i know it was a legitimate question, i was just letting him know b/c it was his first post, and also welcomed him. no where near giving him crap. also, i posted links to where it is discussed with possible solutions. so please dont be jumping on me for giving someone crap, when i wasnt and i did offer suggestions.

but its cool, i dont like it when someone jumps all over a new guy and gives them crap without helping. they took the time to post a bunch of junk about being a noob, where it would take the same time or less to just answer the question.

good luck with finding the solution jackmeoff, it can be a huge pain in the a$$ some times.

Fast Idle Valve under the throttle body...take it off and shoot some carb cleaner in there and you'll be set to go

No offense meant... I wasn't meaning to snap at you, it's hard to figure out what context to take things in sometimes when you're reading what someone wrote. I was reading fast and didn't see the links you posted. I just hate seeing noobs get ripped on when they have a legit question and don't know how the forum works.
