Either, they're both cold air and will function the same.

Correct.

This is the 2nd intake thread I've seen in an hour. Try doing a search, its faster than waiting for replies.

I'd suggest looking at the fake Js racing intake, it makes a great shortram. You know the one, the infamous "whale *****" intake. Sounds better than any other short ram, too. To top it all off, its insanely cheap on ebay.

An intake is an intake. End of story.

An intake is an intake. I've seen atleast 4 threads like this in the last hour. Bottom line, an intake is an intake, there is no 'best' intake. They're all the same.

no i can make it work, just hook it up to the black box above the im, and take out the filter in the airbox, works like a charm

yes intake is an intake... it probably will lose power with anything you buy for the cx dont waiste your money

also... a k&n drop in will do the same thing as an intake if you take out the resisiter box underneath the filter box

The fake j's is one of the more expensive intakes. Get the 2 piece cai for your cx off ebay and be done with it. You'll have short ram and cai in one.

The Fake J's (whale *****) is not going to be the cheapest. The two you previously listed will be.

no its a cx, my air box is atop the im, and thats where the filter is, i have a huge black box and a tube where a normal airbox would be, but the tube has two holes that gets air from the basically useless box
