Yes, at least mine does for sure. It is a mild humming sound that I can hear at idle because I still have a stock exhaust. When the 3" Thermal goes in, I imagine I will barely hear it if at all.

Yea it's pretty noisy. Like the humming you hear inside an airplane.

Has anyone tried dynamatting the fuel tank to reduce the noise? I think that will help. I've dynamatted the trunk to reduce the noise coming from the exhaust and it helped a bit. I'll be doing the tank as well when my Walbro pump arrives.

Did you guys switch your fuel pump fuse to a 15amp after installing the fuel pump?

I was getting a bit paranoid about it a little while ago.

Glad it's "normal".

Why would we want to switch it to 15amp? Necessary to not have the OEM fuse blow under high load?

That's whay I'm asking, the instructions that came with my turbo kit says to switch the fuse, but I can't figure out if it does anything.

You're supposed to hook it up to the fuel pump relay, not your fast-blinky turn signal box!!!

Default dynamat

i dont think it'll work. the gas will dissolve the adhesive. Unless you zip tie or hose clamp it on.

I didn't say to dynamat the pump, I said the tank. That would be on the outside of the fuel tank.

Yeah, I thought you meant all outside of the fuel tank too. No way would I condone someone putting that stuff inside the tank! DOH!

Um... fill the gas tank with spray foam - that will quiet it down!
