high pitched noise
95 civic
i have a very high pitched noise that started today. it seems to be coming from the back of the car and i suspect electric fuel pump. does that sound possible? (electric fuel pump was installed about 3 months ago with B18C motor)
when i turn the key to the on setting but not all the way to start (btw, i don't have that auto checking system), i then hear the fuel pump wake up as normal and then the noise is there. wait a few seconds both stop. turn the key, engine fires up, and this new noise. revving the motor doesn't seem to change the pitch....strange.....from what i described, is that a symptom of a fuel pump on its way out or something else possibly?
