Speaker wire to RCA converter (house speakers)
I have some old house speakers I want to put on my cd player but they are they don't have rca connections on the end...
What is the best way to convert this?
Just splice the rca cables or is there a converter for this?

If you mean the speaker wires coming out of the CD player, just get a set from Radio Shack connect them to the speaker wire, [do not use RCA cable to connect the the speaker, use speaker wire and install the RCAs to the end of the speake wire

OIC, I thought you had a set of Euro speakers, some of them used to come with a RCA type connector on the back of the cabinet as the speaker wire hook up.
Back to your problem, you can NOT do that, you can't hook speakers up to the RCAs on the back of the CD player, the RCA output from the CD player is pre amp only, the signal os only "strong"enough to run an amp not a speaker.
