OBD-1 ls motor into my OBD-2 car (researched)
Hi i have a 97 integra LS, and im putting in a obd1 ls motor. my question is how would i get this motor to run correctly. i have been having issues every since i swapped it in. I have been getting different answers such as swap the ckf, change the dizzy, and get the obd1 ecu. Some have been telling me the car will run ok with just the obd1 ecu. some say i have to change all 3. Is there someone with a definite answer to this.
The car starts up, but is having problems driving. chugging, like it's not getting the right fuel, and idle's wierd.
I have at home the obd1 ecu with harness along with the obd1 dizzy. If someone can help me out this would be great. i need to get the car running so i can go to school.

What codes are you getting?
You'll have to change the OBD1 engine's oil pump to an OBD2 oil pump if you want to use the crankshaft fluctuation sensor (and get rid of the CEL).

If you have OBDII emissions, i'd keep it OBDII. Re-use your OBDII intake manifold, distributor, and valve cover(looks better). Swap oil pumps cuz of crank sensor, then you're set.

dude what codes are you gettin and if you have a obd1 to obd2 jumper you don't use some of the sensors from obd2 motors....i have a obd1 motor in my 00 hatch. let me know what codes your getting

as of now with the obd1 ls ecu, im throwing codes......6-water temp sensor, 7-TPS, 10-IAT intake air temp sensor, and 20-electrical load detector.
reset your ecu and then retry reading the cel again. Also not to be mistaken if you run obd1 motor into obd2 your missing an extra sensor so basically your cel will be on. Here is my thought, i would run obd2 dizzy, alternator, injectors, starter and just plug in your obd2 ecu. Everything should just hook up to normal

i think your thoughts are wrong..i have a obd1 dizzy in my setup. it's easy to re-pin it...and you need to use your obd2 wiring harness...and you don't need a obd2 starter...if you have both wiring harness just re-pin the alternator and injectors...and you definitely need a obd1 to obd2 jumper..

your cel 7 and 10 are the only codes that your throwing that will make your car run shitty....get a manual and check the voltage on both senors...the code 20 means you have a bad fuse box...like i said hit me up with the ?'s i have the same setup as you...I'll answer all your ?
