hey i just got my car re-tuned with a hondata now compared to vafc2 . im happy even tho it cost alot im happy with the results. im pushing 223whp@7psi on a stock ls. but at the dyno they had told me when i push on the pedal down 100% a check light shows up.. but it can be gone if i just turn the car offf and turn it back on. they told me it might be my throttle body. what kind of throttle body should i get?

 

i would like to know what all done you ahve to your ls, becuase i want to have a siiliar setup, also my top end is being built , so with my top end , skunk 2anifold , what kind of numbers should i be putting out, i hope to be bossting that why i am building the motor, but yours is stock so i wanted to see how thats going,

 

t3/t04 turbo tial wastegate turnetic manuel boost controler . msd 2 step . 3 in downpipe with 3 inch exhaust hondata tuned aem fuel rail custom turbo manifold hks ssq bov spearco fmic chipped ecu and other lil things

 

I'm pretty sure getting a new throttle body wont change the check engine light from coming on. More then likely you need a 3 bar map sensor, or somthing along those line. R you using missing link, or check vuals?

Did they tell you what code your vehicle was throwing.
If all they told you was you have a check engine light throwing at 100% throttle. You need to find a better hondata tuner that has a clue as to what they are doing.

 

midnight performance if u guys know of them. there in sac and there pretty known and good at tuning hondata's.. the wire that the pedal is hooked up to. he tighten it up so its not that loose . it prevents it from throwing the light. but i had told him i dont like it cause the pedal feels wierd so he made it loose and he told me when i full throttle it it will come on but it will come off after you turn off n return on the car.
