Can my Eagle rods do the job?
My built head will be getting here within the next week to week and a half.
My turbo is big enough to make the power to 8,500RPMs, but I wanted to know if my Eagle Rods would be able to as well. Assuming the tune was flawless, which it always is.
Is there a threshold that the Eagle rods can be revved to? I'll be making 350-400whp.

I don't know why everyone thinks eagles will fly apart at 300 WHP on you.

If stock GSR can handle 300, I would think Eagles can do even better.
BTW....I have over 300whp WITH Eagles!!!

Did you even read the last link I posted? JoJo used Eagle's in his old Hot Rod teg that went 8's @ 160 MPH. Eagle's with good prep work are going to be pretty much as good as you want for your car. A friend of mine has a drag radial car, supercharged 1600 horsepower V8 that he shifts at 9300 uses forged eagle rods and a forged eagle crank, and that has been together for over a year.

I'd have to note that there are two different eagle rods, econo and then the beefy ones.
my point earlier was if stock can handle 300whp, then eagle econo can definitely handle more...

Thanks to all who replied. This really helped.
I'll be building another sleeved block that will hopefully be done for next summer so I can join the No-Traction 600whp+ club.
