Default Willem Dual burner problem. AT29c256. Crome/Uber HELP!

My Willem burner is acting retarded. ive burned 100's of AT29c256 and 27c256 chips on it.

I just got a new computer and uploaded the willem software now i cant burn a damn thing.

If i click read chip. and then click write to chip. it will write a program to the chip.

But if i try to burn a Crome Bin then it gives me the Error: write sector 0

How do i fix this? i am using the jumper to pin 3 to pin 31 i am using the 97g

when i click to verify the chip i get this : " Error at 0x000000 Chip = 0x00 Buffer = 0xFF

When i click blank test i get this " Device is not empty $0000000"
The chip is installed correctly

the chip is not Id'd when i click the ID tag i get this

Manufacture 0xE2 (''''')
Device code 0x00

in the buffer log all it reads is FF in every cell.

i have no clue whats going on with his. everything worked fine til i got my new computer cause the old one was a POS.

Ive tried all the willems programs and all kinds of different settings. it can read its self and write the program that it read. but it will not burn uber/crome ect Bin files.

Sorry i dont know what is wrong with yours but from my expierence Willems burners are VERY tempormental. Mine has left me stranded a few times, it's a good cheap burner but you could use this as an excuse to buy a new USB burner.

may sure the jumper is touching the chip's pin in #3. also if you put the jumper 2-31 your burner should id the chip correctly. i'm sure you have tryed this. double check all jumpers too. Xenocron has some good links on his site http://www.xenocron.com/
