A Lot of Fuel Consumption...........
Ok, i've been stumped over this problem with my car for awhile, but have waited until now to ask you, the honda-tech, about my problem.
Well, way back in November I pulled out the B16 from my 94 Civic CX when I put it up for the winter. While it was out I put on a Skunk2 intake manifold, Skunk2 throttle body, B&M fuel pressure regulator, AEM high flow fuel rail, completed a wire tuck and relocated my battery to the rear of my hatch. I hid the underhood fuse box under my dash. While relocating the fuse box I had to sodder in extra wire for the alternator ground and the starter. I used 2 guage while running the extra wire.
NOW, my car runs absolutely crappy (15.3 with falken azenis and traction bar, I hit a 15.1 last year on stock steelies, junk tires and no traction bar, still not a good time
) The car only gets 220 miles to the full tank!!! I have a fuel pressure guage mounted on the fuel rail and it reads 40 psi, but I can't turn it up any farther. When I unplug the vaccuum line it jumps up to about 50 psi.
I've replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, new plugs, new wires, but it still feels sluggish. At $3.00 a gallon 93 octane is getting expensive at this rate. I am only running 1 o2 sensor and have been for the past 2 years with no problems. The check engine light is on and the code is for the primary o2 heater. Another problem is that my spark plug boots keep getting pushed off of the spark plugs after i've drive it for a few minutes. I can push the boots back down over the plugs then drive for a minute and they'll be back off. I'm at a loss for what could be wrong. I'm open to any suggestions or questions.

well spark plugs wires popping off means ur losing some of your pressure through the spark plug holes.. u sure u have them seated right? your not crossing the threads?
if your throwing an o2 heater cell your o2 is cooked.. that could contribute to the shitty fuel mileage.. along with the leaking of the pressure

well the lack of an o2 sensor is going to make you use more fuel... even if it says it is for the heater, it still is not fuctioning properly...
and 15.1-15.3 isnt bad for a b16 swap with minor mods... also azenis really dont help that much, either go with a some decent slicks (which i might have mine for sale that would be perfect for you application) or get good drag radials such as BFG g-Force T/A's

My spark plugs are tight and not cross threaded. It just started happening this year. I need this fixed!!!!!
On another note "mugenhatch92" if you sell them slicks i'd be more than interested.

i am going to sell them, because they are just to small for my 300 whp +.... but they were great for 250, and still have alot of traction on them... and they also already come mounted on the wheels

CEL for primary O2 heater will put the ECU into safe mode. Which runs the car rich, and retarded.
Get a new O2 and your fuel consumption will decrease.
as far as blowing off the boot... first guess would be blow by past the plug... maybe your PCV is clogged... and it maybe the breater for the valve cover.
Could be crappy plug wires too. Is the electrical part of the plug wire remaining on the plug?

The electrical part of the plug is not remaining on the plug the entire boot is pushing off the plug. The boots are staying in the cylinder just up about 1/2 an inch from the valve cover.

Yeah, mine was doing the same. That can be caused by the pressure leaking past the spark plug. If you said you checked it and it's tight and not cross threaded, then let's try to think of something else.

where do you have your valve cover vent running to?
have you checked your PCV valve?
