Default B20/Vtec/Turbo....LACK of OIL??????

i heard "URBAN B20 MYTH" that there is a issue that when the b20/vtec/turbo kicks into gear and the motor proceeds into "Vtec" there there is a lack of oil that goes to the head because of how the oil lines are tapped into the oil pump and oil is sent to the turbo through that line its said that the oil pressure is taking a loss along the way and not enough oil is being sent to the head for the Vtec....i heard this prob can be solved with a OIL CATCH CAN...but im not too sure...and if so....how is it done...NEED HELP....-swift ________ i guess what im asking is...if the head isnt getting enough oil cause of the oil lines tapped into the oil pump, leading to the turbo from the Vtec conversion... what is the CORRECT way to provide the Gsr head with MORE OIL...?...there... -swift

It's a myth.

Go for it. It'll be fine.

Umm... I don't see how my post was wrong bud. Everyone said the same thing I did.

Quit being a puss, and run the damn GE kit to the head, and run the thing.

The only reason I could see anyone EVER having problems would be is they were using a sub-par oil pump. Get yourself a GSR/ITR oil pump and it'll be fine.

If you're so afraid of losing oil pressure, pay WAY TOO MUCH for a Toda or Prodrive oil pump gear. You don't need it, but hey, it's your money. Spend it as you like.

...

...Sorry bud, but your B20/VTEC isn't pushing a freakin' MAC truck turbo. You should be fine.
