Default throttle cable problem

ok... here's my problem.. i have a 00 civic with a gsr engine swap b18C1... So.. the cable for my gsr isn't fitting properly into the throttle body area... im not sure if im explaining myself properly.. so i have skunk2 manifold, and a elderbrock throttle body.. when i try and bring the gsr throttle cable around to the gsr bracket that i have, the cable is too long, and won't fit properly..i'd get less than 1/2 throttle.. so im trying to find a way to get my throttle to be able to open up all the way..one...person said that i should of got the ls throttle body and used that instead..another guy said that i should of use the type are bracket on the right hand side, and b16 throttle cable... can somebody with this same problem help me out, this siet is frustrating... if i did that b16 way wouldn't my throttle body be facing the wrong way... wutever..help!??

Default Re: throttle cable problem (Chango_racing)

the throttle cable bracket is held on by two 10mm bolts. Just take off the bolts and move the bracket to the right so it is only held on by 1 bolt. problem solved.

Of course this is a cheap alternative if you don't want to change the cable.
