b16 throttle body problem
I have a problem with my throttle body sticking it seems under puting the car wide open. Here's how its working 1998 civic ex b16a2 put in, we used the type R throttle cable and bracket possibly. so would it either be the throttle cable Rotor peice it connects to on the throttle body geting stuck or the throttle cable its self?? Cause it just seems sometimes when u left off the pedal then go to get back on it that it will not give then buck the car real hard, but its only sometimes?

what kind of intake manifold are u using ? p30? cause b16a and type r throttle body are similar except b16a is 60mm and type r is 62mm. and do u mean throttle body cable sticky? is it too tight?
p30 and p73 throttle cable brackets are a bit different cause they have different part number too. but i think throttle cable are basically the same. and u happen to know that there are two nuts to adjust the throttle cable tightness and looseness, right ?
i remember when i was running p30 intake manifold and p30 throttle body, i was using p30 throttle cable bracket and type r throttle cable . and they worked fine.

u can try to disconnect the throttle cable and play with the throttle body and see if it is still sticky.if not then u need to adjust your throttle cable from the second pic u showed

Adjust the throttle plate nut where the throttle cable connects too.You may need to loosen it or tighten the 1mm bolt. Spray carb/intake cleaner, clean throttle body.
Try doing it with the car on, you'll know what to adjust when you hear the idle change.
