SOHC ZC or DOHC ZC?? This makes a big difference in what cylinder heads and intake manifolds you can use.

Ok well pretty much your only choice for a cylinder head is the stock one. Intake manifold you can custom make one or just have the stock one ported.

For the head have it port and polished and then run your choice of cam(regrind).

IMO due to the lack of N/A parts for the DOHC ZC I would build it for a turbo setup but that is just my opinion so take it for what it is worth.

I had plans on running a turbo setup. Do you think I can run a Garrett T3/T4 turbo or do you think that would be to big and i would be better off running just a T3?

Trust me save up I made the mistake of building my D series and spent around 10,000 on it and swapped a B16 in it and it is wayyyyy faster. I regret not doing it right the first time. If you are looking for power dave up the money just dont go with what you can afford for now, you will regret it like I did

I got the motor for free with an already rebuilt head on it so its practically brand new. Im going to putting in eagle rods and I haven't decided which pistons yet. Any ideas. Would CP pistons be a good investment?

hey first off you will need to know about http://www.thezcr.com

second off you need to search for a guy named Liam on there, he has an awesome turbo set up on his ZC, he invested about $6000 and has a 400 hp zc

And he said it plain and simple. With the money i've put into my ZC all i would have been able to do with a B series is put it in and do one or two performance mods
