ZC turbo question, dont want to waste money!
I heard the ZC's are good upto 300BHP if well tuned etc. Which is nice but I think im wanting about 350 when finished, shall i try to get this out of the zc? OR should I start looking now to get a spare engine to build up i.e. b16 or b18 or even go mad and get a h22. Im not an experienced honda tuner but I wanna set myself a goal and achieve it even if it takes me 5yrs to do i just didnt wanna waste money on the ZC. What does everyone reckon, stick with the ZC and buy forged parts etc to get it to the 200-300mark or jump in at the deep end and join the B series gang. I feel there is more aftermarket support for B series engines.
Any help would be great,
Thanks in advance

Re: ZC turbo question, dont want to waste money! (1.6i-16zc)
I too amd building a kit for my dohc ZC. I will be running on stock internals for the rest of this season and save over the yr for next summer to get forged internals. properly tuned with forged internals u should easily put down close to 300whp. If u havent already been to it go to turbod16.com and u'll find tons of info. as well as thezcr.com. I think the power can be attained but do I want it? not really. 250whp is the max I'll be ever going with this cuz I want a trackable car not a drag racer.
