Default Investing in a tranny.

Hey guys i'm picking up a b18a1 longblock. I'm in the market for a tranny right now so I can hurry up and get this thing on the road. Well I know the b16 tranny has the shortest gear ratio of common b-series trannies. However, I plan to boost in the future and i've had people tell me that the gsr tranny is better for boost. So can anyone guide me to where I should invest my cash and why?

thx

If the GSR tranny is good for the boost, the Type R tranny can only be better. Now, I know very little aboue boost (I'm a NA guy), I would imagine the Type R tranny would have the best gear ratio and be better for boost.
