OBD1 conversion help
whats up guys/gals. alright, so heres the deal... i've got a 91 crx with a 1st gen b16 that i decided to wire tuck and convert to OBD1. i'm running a chipped P08 with Hondata, 440cc injectors (just thinking ahead for boost) and the basic bolt ons. the car starts up nicely (check light is still on though) and idles at about 1400 rpm. but once it starts warming up and the revs drop to about 1200-50 rpm, it starts to miss and sputter. revs wont go past 3500 and it misses like crazy!
so my questions are...
- does anyone here use a P08 ecu? i know alot of people use P28's. whats the benefit? is there one? i just got the ecu on ebay for like $50 and i sent it out to get chipped and the hondata interface installed. its supposed to be a slightly enhanced 99 Si map, but doesnt run the car so well. it ran a little better on my friends stock P72.
- is it alright that i run the 440cc injectors with the motor as is? should i go back to a stock OBD1 style injector?
i'm gonna be going over all of my connections in the next day or so and hopefully i find it there, but these issues have been some things that i'm not very sure of. TIA
