you will need the obd2b to obd1 conversion harness....you shouldnt have to change the manifold...and theres a plug on the passenger side right above the ecu where you can run a jumper wire to check codes...

you can use a factory obd1 vtec computer. the p28 will flash a cel for cam angle. the p30 wont activate the secondaries. try to find an obd1 p72 if you want to run a factory program computer w/ your stock mani.

all the computers you can run are: obd1 pr3, p30, p72, p28, p13, p61... and i'm sure theres a few others like a p08 and stuff.

the p13 will run the secondaries, but its for an h22 and i would run it w/ some sort of piggy back so you can adjust pulsewidth.

the p28 i'd have chipped so you can get past 7500.

best advice is: factory program, use an obd1 p72.

correctomundo And since your car is a 01, its considered obd2B, so make sure you get an obd2B or version II-to- obd 1 conversion harness when you order it.

p30 wouldn't throw a cel anyways.... it wont control secondaries if you use gsr mani.

i'm not flamin... cool dude. go for a p30 or a p61 or an obd1 pr3. whichever you can find . a chipped p28 is the most common thing to use and the easiest to come accross. i just saw someone on HT, name was like ih8ricerz or something close to that, sells socketed p28's w/ 2 programs of your choice for 185. then you could piggyback a hondata s200 on top of that.
