i finished my turbo kit on my civic and the first night we put a base map on the ecu took it out and was boosting about 9 psi on the internal wastegate for the 14b, next day i changed the oil, put in 2 stage colder plugs and richened the map up and now only hit like 4-5 psi and 5000 rpm and up i lose boost, any ideas?
ps: no leaks in the charge pipes or anything

Weird.... only thing I can think of is possibly electronics... go over everything make sure wiring is straight, re-check base timing, do you have a check engine light?, pull plugs, make sure plug wires are tight.
this weird kind of stuff just needs some figeting sometimes.
good luck

for what? Really really good wastegate lines
possible boost leak at BOV or somehwere small. Has your vaccum at idle changed at all?

My buddies car with an open 02 housing and the 14b always would loose boost around 5k. Then he put a full exh. sysytem on and now it only fluctuates 1psi where it used to drop 4 or 5 psi. Its really gay, Ive herd other people have the same problem as well...

Pre turbo leak: loss of spool and boost depending on how bad it is.
If you want to check for a leak fill up a spray bottle with soapy water and start up a cool engine. Then spray liberally all over the exhaust gasket and fitting from manifold to turbo. If you see bubles, you have a leak.
