no boost when wastegate hooked up

Default no boost when wastegate hooked up

when i have the wastegate hookede up i get no boost only like 1or2 psi. but when i unhook the wastegate from the charge pipe it only boost to 5 psi

in order to get vacuum, dont you have to hook it up to a port after the throtte body?

Gates are supposed to see boost, not vacuum.

Check your intercooler piping for leaks. Never run without your boost source hooked to your wastegate. If you overboost...toast.

mines hooked up to my turbine ...you can use the intaake as well

-check your WG to see if its stuck open
-if its a tial, make sure that the little steel ring is in place (between the flange anf manifold
-check you vacuum lines for leaks
-check that you are hooking up your WG to a reliable boost source

He's using an internally gated turbo fyi. My money is on a leak in the charge pipe.
