well iv been workin on this we about 5 days.....its almost done, I have a 92 eg with a obd 1 h22a, euro r manifold. Every thing is in.....but I have the header open, no 02 hooked up right now, and I odnt have an air temp sensor, hasnt come in yet. For ***** and giggles I thoguth id try startin it tonight, just pops and tunes over. both motors were external coils, I have the injector resistor in, no evap stuff, im runnin a chipped p28 with uberdata, im 99% sure I have firing order right, and I checked timming about 100 times before I put the motor in....im gettin fuel....plugs were wet, im sure im gettin spark, its popin like its firein....should I jsut wait till its complete? I just dont wanna finish it and then have to take **** back apart, what do you think?

 

Is it poping through the throttle body.

check your engine/harness grounds....also check TPS & Map sensors....is the motor on TDC?

 

ignition timing may be off. your firing order could be wrong also. I had this happen to me. firing order 1342

compression test?
